These Terms govern access to TruCrypt websites, applications, and services. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference.
You must be at least 18 years old. You may not use the Services if you are on any sanctions list (OFAC SDN), located in a Restricted Jurisdiction, or otherwise prohibited by applicable law.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
TruCrypt offers end-to-end encrypted messaging, voice messages, file transfer, and an on-device encrypted vault. Encryption keys are generated and stored on your device — TruCrypt cannot access your message content. We use standard, well-reviewed cryptography: RSA-3072 per-user key pairs and a fresh AES-256-GCM key per message (wrapped with RSA-OAEP-SHA256).
You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activities under your account. If you lose your device and your key backup, your message history cannot be recovered — we do not hold your keys.
Paid plans are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple's App Store (StoreKit). Billing, renewal, and cancellation are managed through your Apple account; we do not receive or store your payment card details. Prices and plan features may change prospectively.
You represent that you are not subject to sanctions and will not use the Services in violation of U.S. export controls or applicable law.
All TruCrypt software, trademarks, logos, and code are owned by TruCrypt or its licensors. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services as permitted.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) USD 100 or (b) amounts you paid to TruCrypt in the 3 months preceding the event. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TruCrypt and its affiliates from any claims arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
Governing Law: State of Delaware, without conflict-of-law rules.
Informal Resolution: 60-day good-faith negotiation period after written notice.
Arbitration: Binding arbitration via AAA Commercial Rules, single arbitrator,
Wilmington, Delaware (or remote). Federal Arbitration Act applies.
Class-Action Waiver: Claims only in an individual capacity — no class or
representative proceedings.
Opt-Out: Send written notice to contact@gettrucrypt.com within 30 days of first
acceptance.
